High Speed Rotation Hall Effect Sensor Test Bench
Hall Effect Sensor Test Bench
This high speed rotation Hall effect sensor test bench is used in the laboratory to characterize Hall effect sensors at rotational speeds ranging from 100 to 10,000 rpm.
The bench is made of a shaft line driven by a Parker motor by the test-PC that allows target rotation, up to 7kg and a diameter of 200mm, at a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm.
The shaft line is balanced and the vibration level is monitored during operation to detect possible drift and mis-mounting of the target.
An incremental encoder of 36,000 pts / revolution delivers the angular position of the shaft to the PC to synchronize the signals of the sensor under test with the angular position of the target.
The sensor under test is positioned on a dedicated support embedded on a set of micrometric tables X, Y and a goniometric table allowing accurate positioning of the sensor relative to the target.
Technical characteristics of the Hall effect sensor test bench:
- Multi-reference laboratory bench
- Balanced tree line
- Vibration analysis
- High resolution and high speed encoder
- Micrometric positioning table
- Rotary table of precision
- NI-PXI Acquisition Rack
- Soft control & acquisition in LabVIEW
