Sterile Tube Welder for Pharmaceutical Tubes
The sterile tube welder is a piece of cleanroom equipment designed to weld two C-Flex® production hoses in a completely safe and sterile way.
The unique translation technology features a specially developed multi-use blade kit that allows for an automated connection between two sterile thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubes to be made. The connector is suitable for the closed system.
How It Works
The adjustment of the parameters is carried out by detecting the set of matrix (tube holders) previously positioned by the operator. Each tube format has a dedicated set, which limits human error in setting the parameters. The blade set quickly rises to the set temperature and then cuts the tubes while maintaining the optimum welding temperature.
The tube holders slide out and the multi-use blade moves up. The connection is made and the operator can then retrieve the tube. The temperature of the blade, together with the relative movements of the dies, ensures the highest quality of weld without risk of particulate contamination or breach of sterility.

- Several brands of TPE tubing already qualified such as Cflex, Advantaflex, Tuflux and other brands on request after internal validation.
- Several uses such as on empty, wet or fluid filled tubes at atmospheric pressure.
