This custom-made automatic diagnostic strip filling line machine tool is an automatic filling line is used to allocate, assemble and package strips filled with diagnostic fluid for the detection of food-borne pathogens.
The strips are distributed and conveyed on a multiple mount bucket transfer.
Their fingerprints are filled with test liquid via a station of 16 positive displacement pumps. An aluminum film is unwound over the strips and thermo-sealed to isolate the liquid in their wells. Different ID labels are printed and affixed to the aluminum foil.
A cutting operation makes it possible to split the strips. At the end of the line, a poly-articulated robot retrieves the strips individually to package them in thermoformed plates distributed and made available automatically. Part of the line is integrated under a laminar flow to classify the area. The equipment can produce up to 5300 strips / hour.
