The thermal welding machine for pharmaceutical hoses is a device designed to weld two C-Flex® thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubes in a sterile and safe way. To use the machine, the operator sets the parameters of the die set he has installed beforehand. The set is chosen according to the tube format. The temperature of the die set is then increased to the set temperature. When this is done, the temperature of the blade kit drops and the holder tubes and multi-purpose blade are removed. The operator can then pick up the tube. The quality of the weld is ensured by the relative movements of the dies and the temperature generated by the blade kit. The technique prevents particulate contamination and ensures that sterile conditions are maintained by maintaining asepsis throughout the process. As a result, the TPE tubes are connected in complete safety.
